​George has worked with high profile clients and influencers from around the world in developing their brand through Fitplan; This includes the likes of Arod & Jennifer Lopez, Jen Selter, Brandon Braizer and Sommer Ray. 

 

Prior to Fitplan, George was employed on Princess Cruises to plan, shoot and edit full-length Documentaries around the world to be screened to thousands aboard the ship theatres. 

 

Priorities have now shifted as George pursues his true passions in storytelling and filmmaking, applying his talents and skills to creating motivational and life-changing videos for Goalcast. 

George continues to produce his own short films, which can be found on festival circuits collecting awards.

[Vancouver, British Columbia, June 18th 2018 – George Marei, of Logan Brothers Productions, has won a prestigious Award of Excellence from The Best Shorts Film Competition. The award was given for George’s exciting Short Film, Pictura, which deals with unveiling the enigmas of infatuation, through art. Pictura features exceptional filmmaking and creativity through it’s compelling script and inspired vision. 

 

“We took on this project with the goal of having a good time, learning a bunch, and sharing our passion with one another. I am so thankful to have been blessed with the opportunity to work with such a passionate cast and crew. The Best Shorts Competition recognizes film, television, videography and new media professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity, and those who produce standout entertainment or contribute to profound social change. Entries are judged by highly qualified professionals in the film and television industry.

In winning a Best Shorts Award, Pictura joins the ranks of other high-profile winners of this internationally respected award including The Weinstein Company for Market Hours, Disney Interactive for Vinlymation: A Love Story and Oscar winning production Mr. Hublot from Laurent Witz from Luxembourg. Rick Prickett, who chairs The Best Shorts Competition, had this to say about the latest winners, “Best Shorts is not an easy award to win.
